M1101 Cargo Trailer – 28mm Modern

Every vehicle column needs the gear that keeps the mission going.

The M1101 Cargo Trailer is the lightweight utility trailer commonly seen behind HMMWVs and other light tactical vehicles. Designed to carry supplies, equipment, and mission-specific cargo, it’s one of those pieces of kit that shows up everywhere modern forces operate — even if it rarely gets the spotlight.

On the tabletop, it adds a lot of realism to your vehicle columns and opens the door to new scenario ideas.

What It Brings to Your Games

The M1101 is all about what it’s carrying — and that makes it perfect for objective-driven missions.

Use it for:

🚚 Supply convoy missions – Ammo, water, or equipment moving across hostile territory.

🏜️ Logistics operations – Support vehicles hauling the gear infantry units need to stay in the fight.

🎯 Objective scenarios – Capture the cargo, destroy the supplies, or escort it safely off the board.

🪖 Forward operating base resupply – Move critical equipment between positions.

🔧 Custom cargo loads – Add crates, fuel cans, or mission gear to match your scenario.

Because the trailer itself isn’t armored or armed, it naturally becomes a high-value but vulnerable objective, which makes for more interesting games.

Not every piece of equipment on the battlefield is meant to fight.

Some of it just needs to get where it’s going.

And if the enemy knows what’s in that trailer…

they’re definitely going to try and stop it.
