It lays a clean, controlled line that binds to the sheet quickly instead of spreading into the fibers — so it stays sharp, resists a spill or a damp thumb, and keeps the back of the page readable enough to write on both sides.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eIt's also built for ordinary pens. A dye-based formula tuned to flow properly in inexpensive fine-nib fountain pens, not just in a well-tuned gold nib. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eSailor\u003c\/strong\u003e — the first colorway. A solid, saturated navy that stays consistent across the stroke, with just a touch of variation where the ink pools.
